NagVis is a visualization addon for the well known network managment system Nagios.
NagVis can be used to visualize Nagios Data, e.g. to display IT processes like a mail system or a network infrastructure.
Install gadgets
Since NagVis 1.4x you can add gadgets.
Unpack Gadget
Unpack NagVis Template in a path of your choice
tar xvzf NagVis-Gadget-<name>-<version>.tar.gz
Install NagVis-Gadget
Place the NagVis-Gadget directory tree into your NagVis folder (default /usr/local/nagios/share/nagvis/nagvis/gadgets).
cp -r nagvis /usr/local/nagios/share/.
Configure
Open a map with the WUI "NagVis configuration", select as example an icon for a service with disk monitoring. In the configuration menu select "gadget" as view_type. Select your installed gadget as value for gadget_url.
Now save the configuration.
Ready! Now you can see the new gadget on yor map.
