Introducing...
NagVis is a visualization addon for the well known network managment system Nagios.
NagVis can be used to visualize Nagios Data, e.g. to display IT processes like a mail system or a network infrastructure.
Extended line features
Extended line features would be the possibility to create segmented lines with more than 2 coordinate pairs. Unfortunately the 3rd coordinate is already used today for defining the center of a line in some cases.
I would move the center definition to an own setting line_center:
line_center: [<s>,]<%>|[<s>,]<px>|center
Where s is the the numbe of the segment and precenteag the place of the center on the given segment.
default=<center> would be the exaact center when the length of all segment lenghts are added
From the line center definition I come to th enext feature being the possibility to attach a status at both ends of the line each coloring th eline up to the center avoiding th erequirement to define 2 lines for a complete connection monitoring. The status on both ends could be from 2 different source (eg. host & sevice for ex.). By adding line tipes with perf data only in one direction it would be possible to implement this rather easely by splitting the line into 2 lines internally.
