Display Images within the hover_url

4

At the moment just text will be displayed when specified a website in "hover_url".

Why there is no support for images?
If you specify for example a .png this will result in an error :-(

This can be easily done via a lightbox or sth. like this which opens on mouseover.

(Use case:
Map with Status of cameras and we like view the live camera image when hover on the kamera icon.)

Kind regards,

How the supporting system works

You as a supporter of a feature specify one or several things you like to give to the solver for getting the feature request solved. It can be for example a bunch of coins but some developers migth also be happy about some beer donations ;-).

Posting your donation to a feature is seen as a willigness to support this feature. It is no binding offer. Once the feature gets targeted to be solved, we will contact you with more details.

You can create custom hover templates which embed those resources, like images or video streams. this works for a long time and is much more flexible than let the userdefine an url and make nagvis guess which html codes to use to display this url.

Marking as done now.

We've been looking for a solution to the same issue, displaying camera images within NagVis. We'd love to be able to imbed a small thumbnail type image within maps, not just in a hover_url. But would be happy with either. Keep up the great work guys!
