Introducing...
NagVis is a visualization addon for the well known network managment system Nagios.
NagVis can be used to visualize Nagios Data, e.g. to display IT processes like a mail system or a network infrastructure.
Make maps zoomable
At the moment the maps are only scalable by browser zooming features. This is not enough in some cases.
For example it would be nice to have the page scalings saved for each user and for each map. Maybe it is also possible to detect an initial zooming state depending on the users resolution.
You have the option to support ideas and featues by donating.
Features with donations will get more attention and will propably be implemented faster.

How the supporting system works
You as a supporter of a feature specify one or several things you like to give to the solver for getting the feature request solved. It can be for example a bunch of coins but some developers migth also be happy about some beer donations ;-).
Posting your donation to a feature is seen as a willigness to support this feature. It is no binding offer. Once the feature gets targeted to be solved, we will contact you with more details.

Can you implement it in an 1.6 update? I really looking forward to this feature and i guess it will take some time till the 1.7 release. Im not allowed to run a beta software.

If you are interested you can take a look at the current NagVis 1.7 developments in git master code. We implemented a simple zoom functionality in that version.

I think steps are ok, but maybe we need some more steps (75%, 125% and 175%??)

Is it a pre-requisite to support this feature correctly to have all graphics in nagvis displays be vector based graphics or can the zooming be done with the existing images.

Is it enough to have the zoom in steps like 200%, 150%, 100%, 50%, 25%, 10% or do we need real step-by-step zoom?

We have a special account for the "user" running on our central presentation display so every map fits exactly to the screen.
One can set it for each map on "Actions > "Modify view" > "Appearance" > "Zoom". Zooming can be done with steps of 1% up or down.
