Distributed Nagvis

Allow distribution of Nagvis monitoring on multiple servers for large infrastructure monitoring.

A map object should be able to refer to a local map or to a map located on a remote Nagvis server (with update of map state).

Clicking on the map object could redirect the user to the remote Nagvis map. The remote map could be included in the current Nagvis or the user could be redirected to the remote server (configurable option).

define map {
nagvis_server=nagvis1.example.com
map_name=webserver
x=77
y=156
}
define map {
nagvis_server=nagvis2.example.com
map_name=mailservers
x=77
y=156
}
define map {
map_name=network #located on the local server
x=77
y=156
}

How the supporting system works

You as a supporter of a feature specify one or several things you like to give to the solver for getting the feature request solved. It can be for example a bunch of coins but some developers migth also be happy about some beer donations ;-).

Posting your donation to a feature is seen as a willigness to support this feature. It is no binding offer. Once the feature gets targeted to be solved, we will contact you with more details.
